Ensuring access, opportunity, and growth for coastal communities

We work to empower communities in Perumathura through education by improving access, awareness, and opportunities. Our focus is to ensure that no student is left behind, regardless of their background

Since 2017, the Snehatheeram Scholastic Award has recognized outstanding students from coastal regions for their academic excellence. The award celebrates dedication, discipline, and the pursuit of knowledge.

Awardees receive a cash prize, certificate, and memento as a mark of recognition.

The award ceremonies have been graced by distinguished personalities such as Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP, Mr. V. Sashi MLA, and Dr. M. I. Sahadulla.

As part of our 10th anniversary milestone, ₹4 lakhs in scholarships were awarded to 20 deserving students.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when education shifted online, we ensured that students from vulnerable backgrounds could continue their learning without disruption.

Through this initiative, we distributed over 130 electronic devices to 135 students, helping them stay connected to education during a critical time.

This effort reflects the strength of the community networks we have built over the years

To address the gap in career awareness and preparation, we launched the Future-Ready Youth Initiative to equip students with the skills and confidence needed for higher education and career success.

We have conducted career guidance workshops for over 100 students and introduced communicative English programs, with a special focus on empowering girls.

Our Competitive Exam Coaching Cell provides free PSC coaching, aptitude training, and personal mentoring. In 2024 alone, more than 117 students enrolled in this program.

Through this initiative, we aim to increase the representation of coastal youth in higher education and public-sector careers.
