We are building a dedicated health centre to provide continuous, comprehensive care for the coastal community. Moving beyond crisis response, we will transform community wellness in Perumathura with a centre designed for holistic care. To bring our mission to life, the Community Health Centre will launch with these core projects.
Participatory Health Mapping
The Participatory Health Mapping Project empowers coastal communities to become co-researchers, transforming their local knowledge into actionable data. Through collaborative mapping and analysis, residents visually diagnose environmental health triggers in the community and create tools to predict vulnerabilities, fostering lasting ownership over public health outcomes.
Safety Net Project
The Safety Net Project aims to protect lives of Perumathura’s fishing communities by providing life-saving first-aid training and kits for emergencies at sea. We seek to build community trust by unlocking vital resources and establishing a dedicated service for fishing families families to access entitled government health coverage.
